The house
Built in the 1940s, made over for holidays
Hand-built from solid concrete and hardwood, this much-loved Kings Beach home stays cool in summer and cosy in winter, with a wood fire and complimentary firewood.
We're Monique and Mat, a wife-and-hubby team who took over the house in 2026 and gave it a full makeover with comfortable, quality furnishings. Before us it was a holiday favourite for over 12 years, rated 4.87 stars.
The kitchen has everything for cooking in: dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave, a big fridge-freezer and a Nespresso machine. The air-conditioned living room has a smart TV, and the balcony has a 4-seat wicker lounge and a 4-burner BBQ for long evenings.
Bring the beach gear or borrow ours: kayaks, two surfboards, boogie boards, a sun shade, sandpit toys and a big beach trolley are all here for you.
